In September of 2022, I sat down and wrote this manifestation statement — not as a “someday” wish list, but as a deeply personal vision for the life I wanted to build.

At the time, I was a mom navigating big transitions, running my business, and trying to find my footing in a season that felt both exciting and uncertain. I knew what I wanted… but I didn’t yet know how it would all unfold.
So I wrote it anyway.
I wrote about the business I dreamed of running. The family life I wanted to create. The kind of mom, partner, and woman I was becoming. The peace, confidence, health, and financial stability I was calling in.
This wasn’t about “manifesting” in a magical, wish-and-wait kind of way — it was about getting clear, aligned, and intentional about the life I was building one small decision at a time.
What you’re about to read is exactly what I wrote back then.Unedited. Honest. Hopeful. Powerful.
And as you read it now, you’ll probably notice something special…
So much of this has become real — not because I sat back and waited, but because I showed up, kept going, and kept choosing this life, even when it was hard.
Here's My 2022 Manifestation Statement
Professional Development
You have a successful small business and are a blogger and influencer with a strong following of women who support and encourage you. You enjoy influencing and running your business, it makes you feel accomplished and empowered everyday that you provide financially for your family and set an example for Thalia and Raiyah so they grow up knowing they can achieve anything they set their minds to. You appreciate sharing with your life and advice with fellow mamas who provide support for each other as you navigate motherhood, the ever changing and challenging role you all love to have. You relish working on your own time with a flexible schedule so you can stay home and enjoy being a mom and watching your girls grow up. You have found the perfect work life balance and have a schedule to help you stay focused and stress free with the many deadlines that come with being a business owner and influencer. You choose the projects you want to work on, like blogging, and take pride in sharing only the products that you know and love with your followers, like local small businesses and other momtrepreneurs.
Family & Friends
I have made some mom friends who understand mom struggles and give me a place to vent without feeling judged while also giving the girls an opportunity to socialize and make friends. I’ll feel happy and connected to my fellow moms and not guilty that the girls have grown up in a covid bubble with limited activities. I am the type of friend who makes plans regularly and keeps them, who reaches out and touches base in between visits and always is the ear that listens when my friends need it. I feel like a good friend, and am happy always being there for others.
My family has grown and allowed Raiyah to become a big sister, which I’m proud to say she is amazing at, just like her big sister! I will have strengthened my relationship with my brother and am honoured to have been there for him during his big life events like buying and renovating a house and meeting someone special. I’m grateful to my dad for helping me with my home renovations and I’ve returned the favour by helping him with the house and the trailer, which is something that makes him happy. Mom and I are closer now that we both have our own spaces. We visit frequently because I know how much she loves spending time with the girls, and it bring me joy to see them develop a close bond. We have fun DIY-ing and enjoy over mother-daughter-granddaughter hobbies and frequently take low stress trips together to make memories that will last a lifetime.
We make time to visit our extended family around the holidays so the cousins grow up knowing each other which is something that is very important to me and will bring me satisfaction knowing we aren’t the lone wolves in the family.

Significant Other
I have meet someone who understands me and loves me, flaws and all. We have strong communication skills to work through all of life’s challenges and overcome them together which in turn makes us grow stronger. He will bring me so much joy, love and happiness which I return to him. We will get married and grow our family together, sharing our love with all of our beautiful children. The kids will see us challenge and build each other up and demonstrate a healthy relationship which will make me a grateful mama.
Finances
I have worked diligently to create and stick to a budget that allows me to be a stay-at-home mom without sacrificing things for the girls. I’m gratified to be a stay-at-home mom that is also an entrepreneur who provides for her family. I can enroll the girls in activities and plan trips without being overly concerned about breaking our budget. I’ve paid off the van and am making attritional mortgage payments, working towards financial freedom. I feel very accomplished knowing that I can be financially stable on my own but appreciate having a second income none the less.
Home Environment
I feel relaxed and comfortable now that I’ve settled into the house and the renovations are complete and paid for which leaves me stress free and calm. I take pride in being a homeowner, maintaining my property and using it to express my creativity and individuality. I get excited to decorate and celebrate each holiday with my friend and family and love that my home is also open for visits. I frequently host and have developed an organizational system that allows me to keep the house clean and tidy without making me feel overwhelmed and overworked. I live in a family friendly neighbourhood with parks close by for the girls to play at, we have a nice house with adequate space for work and play and I utilize my DIY and interior design skills to make the house feel like a home.
Health
I have found confidence and love the way I look at any weight. I take pride in developing and sticking with workout habits which have resulted in me losing the girls baby weight and have allowed me to maintain a healthy weight according to my BMI.

I enjoy spending time in the kitchen trying new and healthier food options to ensure the girls develop healthy eating habits as they grow up. We enjoy indulging in sweets in moderation but also enjoy eating a balanced diet, fueling our bodies to have lots of energy throughout the day to run and play.
I’ve made my mental health a priority and do things daily to stay in a happier and healthier mindset. My morning routine gets me up early and set me up for success each day helping me feel accomplished and grounded first thing in the morning. Doing a workout and getting ready are just a few of the small things I do daily for my mental health, being able to do chores and work in the morning are an added bonus. I’ve created and stuck to an evening routine that helps me wind down after a busy day and feel accomplished right before going to bed. My nighttime routine includes skin care, gratitude journal and a leisure activity like reading, sewing or crafting which is a relaxing way to end the evening.
Personal Growth
Personal growth is important and has been worked into my routines, so I feel like I’m continuing to better myself daily. It often looks like a variety of activities such as reading, writing, attending classes/webinars to learn about new topics for work or parenting, developing a new skill or teaching others and I relish the diversity.
Motherhood
Being a mom is the most important thing to me and brings me so much joy and happiness. I wake up everyday excited and energized to engage and be present with the girls. We play, do learning activities, go on day trips but also enjoy spending time at home. We have a routine that helps everyone stay on track and not overwhelmed. We sleep well and eat well and feel our best frequently, but I take breaks when I need it to so stay the best version of me for the girls and they look forward to spending time with Grandma, Grandpa, Oma and Daddy when I need a break.

Fun & Leisure
I prioritize taking breaks and doing things that fill my cup. I regularly try new things and engage in hobbies that bring me happiness like dance, reading, bloggings, listening to music, hanging out with friends, camping, quilting, DIY-ing and more. I don’t feel guilty taking time away from the girls to do these things because my happiness is important for the girls to see and teaches them the importance of a well-balanced life. I enjoy sharing my hobbies with the girls if they are interested and nurture their interests as they appear. I have learned to avoid activities that appear fun but don’t fill my cup, like aimlessly scrolling on social media and extensively playing games on my phone. I have found balance and happiness and it shows
Update in 2026: Looking Back, Here's What Manifestation Really Taught Me
Reading this now feels emotional in the best way.
Some of these things unfolded beautifully and exactly as I imagined. Some looked completely different than I expected. And some required far more resilience, patience, and courage than I ever could have planned for.
But every single line shaped the woman I am today.
Manifestation didn’t mean everything was easy. It meant I stayed committed to my vision when life felt heavy, uncertain, and overwhelming. It meant choosing growth over comfort. It meant trusting that even the hardest seasons were still moving me closer to the life I wanted to build.
If you’re in a season right now where you feel behind, stuck, or unsure — I hope this reminds you that clarity comes before confidence, and vision comes before results.
Write the life you want.
Believe it’s possible.
And then take the next brave step toward it.
You don’t need the whole plan. You just need the courage to begin.
