I’m not usually one to say let’s put in a pin in it. When I have an idea my favourite thing to do is run with it. 🏃♀️➡️
But…
This is the one case where I make an exception. So, I’m virtually sending you some of my “run with it” energy and am asking you to put a pin in it on Instagram for today’s quickie.
We’re making a new pinned post.
If you haven’t used pinned posts before, they are the 1-3 posts that (when pinned) stay at the top of your Instagram profile.
Pinned posts are a very important part of your profile and a fantastic tool you can leverage to support your business goals.
They are the first pieces of content people see and can be used to communicate key messages that drive growth and sales.
I recommend you use them for some of the following activities:
Growing your email list
Promoting a product or service
Summer events or markets
Driving registrations for live events, masterclasses, workshops etc.
Introducing yourself to new followers
If something in that list jumped out at you, great! Roll with that for your pinned post.
If not, you can use the following ChatGPT prompt to start brainstorming.

“Given what you know about my business, can you suggest 10 different ideas for a pinned post on Instagram that will support _ business goal.”
OR
“Given what you know about my business, can you suggest 10 different ideas for a pinned post that would help me achieve my goal of _.”
ChatGPT will likely give you a short caption you can use as a starting point for your action caption. You can ask ChatGPT to help you write the caption in a follow up prompt if none are provided.
Your visual will depend on the purpose and goal of the post (more on that in another email). Create a static post or reel, whatever feels aligned to you and can be done relatively quickly.
B-roll video with text over top is always my go to as I find designing graphics and carousel posts more time consuming when I’m not in a creative mood.
