Quickie #3: Update your CTA

Last week we created a new pinned post to support a current goal you have in your business (if you missed it check out the Content Quickie archive). 

This week, we're going to work towards your goal by updating the CTA in your Instagram bio.

Your CTA or call-to-action outlines the next steps for someone interested in working with you, purchasing a product, downloading a freebie etc. 

For clarity (and due to the character count limit of your Instagram bio) you can only have one CTA at a time. You can switch up your CTA as often as you'd like but you can only ever direct your followers to one thing at a time. 

An effective CTA is clear, concise and motivating. It should encourage your followers to take action, thus supporting your business goal. 

Here are a few CTA examples:

1. Follow us on YouTube

2. Comment “checklist” for a free resource

3. Book a complimentary clarity call/discovery call/coffee chat

4. Join my Facebook group for weekly meal plans

5. Save your seat for my next mastermind

6. Join our online networking community

“Act as a conversion copywriter and generate 5 CTA examples under 40 character that encourage my followers to _ (insert the desired action you want your followers to take)”

Reminder: your CTA in your bio should align with the topic and objective of the pinned post you created last week. Your followers will need multiple reminders to take the action you want them to take.
