20 Weeks Bumpdate

pregnant woman smiling holding sign that says,'20 weeks size- banana, half way there

đŸŽ” Half way there, oh oh, living on a prayer đŸŽ”

When I was assembling the sign for my halfway week (August 7 - 14) I couldn't get this song out of my head! The first half of this pregnancy has gone by so quickly and I'm sure the second half will as well but right now December feels so far away.

My second pregnancy has been very different from my first and I'm glad that I don't have the pressure of fitting baby showers around home renovation plans, while also working, and trying to decide what's the safest car seat for a baby, do I really need a crib and 101 other things that I had rolling around in my head!

Don't get me wrong, I still have plenty of shopping plans to prepare for Baby #2 but there seems to be significantly less stress this around because of the been there, done that experience from Thalia's arrival less than a year ago. I felt like I started preparing for Thalia earlier and my only worry is that I'm going to be so wrapped up in work and enjoying my time with Thalia that I won't start shopping soon enough. If you knew me pre-baby you'd laugh knowing that procrastinating on shopping is not something I'd ever done. I can't be the only one that does Christmas shopping in June, right? Things have definitely changed but I love the changes and can't wait to embrace them again when Baby #2 arrives!
