Quickie #24: The Reel Hook You Should Steal This Week

This week’s ChatGPT prompt is all about helping you show up strategically on Reels — not just posting for the sake of posting.

We’re using the hook:

“Just posting this hoping to reach the ___.”

It’s simple, relatable, and super shareable — but to make it actually work, you need to fill in that blank with something specific that your ideal audience sees and instantly thinks:

“Yup, that’s me.” or “Omg, I need to send this to ___.”

So here’s how to use ChatGPT to help:

"I'm creating a Reel using the hook: 'Just posting this hoping to reach the __.' My audience is [describe your ideal client in a few words: e.g. overwhelmed new moms, ambitious service providers, side hustlers with no time, etc.]. Can you give me 10 specific ways to finish that sentence that would stop them mid-scroll and make them feel seen?"

You can even ask ChatGPT to write a caption or brainstorm content ideas to match the hook. Just follow it up with:

"Now give me a Reel idea and caption that would go with each hook!"

Using these kinds of emotional, specific, “I feel called out” hooks is such a powerful way to build connection, grow your audience, and increase shares — especially when paired with an offer or relatable message that leads to your products or services.

Let ChatGPT do the heavy lifting so you can just plug in your strategy and hit publish!
