If you’ve been feeling a little disconnected from your content, unclear on what your audience really wants, or wondering if your offers are still a good fit for the people you want to serve… this is for you.
Before we dive in, I hope you don't mind we skipped a few Content Quickies and Go Get Great episode drops. We've been wrapping up the school year and then jetting off (okay, drove off) for a much needed family vacation.
While I enjoyed some screen free time at the beach in Kincardine, I finally had the space to think through some things in my business that have been percolating in my brain.
Our trip brought me immense clarity and direction and I'm excited about the projects I had time to conceptualize while I as away that will be launching soon!
All of this clarity stemmed from sitting down to review my brand foundations. I started by answering a series of questions to realign with my ideal clients. I loved the exercise so much that I wanted to share it with you because I think every business owner shoudl go through this process at least one a year.
These are not surface-level prompts. They’ll make you think. They’ll reconnect you to the bigger vision behind your business. And they might just help you discover a few gaps or outdated offers that are ready to evolve.
I’m sharing the full list below in case you want to do a clarity check of your own 👇 You can go old fashion like me and bring pen to paper, or use ChatGPT.
"Based on what you know about my business and the type of audience I serve, I want you to help me answer the following questions to create aligned offeres for my ideal clients... (insert as many of the questions from below you want support with)."
I started with a few general questions and feed the answers into ChatGPT before moving onto the next set of questions (this allows me to reset ChatGPT's expectations of my ideal clients to aviod getting poor business advice).
Ideal Customer Prompts & Questions
1. Who exactly am I trying to attract?
What is their business type or niche?
Are they just starting or more experienced?

Part 2 - Brittany’s Foundational Ideal Client Questions
These are going to make you dig deeper and start to make decisions about how you'll need to market your business to get people to stop and go 'this is for me'.
What do they need help with before they’re ready to work with me?
What have they already tried (that didn’t work)?
What do they wish existed or had been easier in their business?
What do they say when they finally inquire or reach out?
What do they ask on sales calls or in the DMs?
What do they complain about publicly or vent about privately?
What do they need to believe in order to buy?
What mindset shifts have I personally had to make to get to this point?
What do they say when they get great results?
What patterns do I see in my favorite or most successful clients?
What specific transformation or outcome do I want to be known for?
What’s the ultimate promise behind my offer(s)?
How do I want my audience to feel when they interact with me or my brand?
What am I not willing to do just to get more customers?
Part 3 - The Real Money Questions
Given everything I know about my ideal clients, are any of my current offers no longer aligned?→ If yes, how can I adjust them—or should I retire them altogether?
With that in mind, are there any gaps in my product or service suite that I should fill to better support my clients, create a smoother journey, and grow revenue with ease?
These questions helped me spot a few blind spots, find new offer and content ideas, and make confident decisions about what’s staying and what’s shifting in my business.
If this kind of work feels helpful right now, maybe carve out some time to journal your own answers this week.
Or just hit reply and tell me where you’re stuck—I'm always happy to point you in the right direction.
